Marketing Manager – Japan

Job Overview
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for implementing the annual business plan and managing core marketing strategies for the brand. This includes ensuring smooth execution of quarterly plans in collaboration with regional marketing teams, maintaining brand consistency across all platforms according to global standards, and coordinating with agencies and brand teams to produce marketing materials and train execution partners. The role also involves managing sponsorships and partnerships with athletes or ambassadors to enhance brand image and drive purchasing behavior. Close collaboration with regional marketing teams is required to align on business goals and design pre-activation campaigns. Additionally, support digital and social media initiatives including campaigns and agency coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and finalize the annual business plan.

  • Establish and deepen the brand’s presence in local sports and gaming communities relevant to target consumers. Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in sports, gaming, and music to generate ideas that bring the brand to life locally.

  • Test and share ideas through engagement at events with opinion leaders and marketing teams.

  • Ensure all branding and logo usage at events and activations complies with company standards and receives appropriate approvals.

  • Lead marketing efforts focused on core areas such as music, gaming, and sports.

  • Identify and manage promotional activities and inventory to maximize brand visibility and sales.

  • Collaborate with the Digital Manager and external partners to develop creative content aligned with the marketing plan.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in brand management or marketing within lifestyle, FMCG, or CPG industries.

  • Experience leading event execution, activations, and ambassador programs for at least 2 years.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Fluent in English.
