Summary

A major technology company is seeking a seasoned Marketing Program Manager to lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns for its gift card product in the Japanese market. This role is pivotal in shaping the brand’s image and ensuring that all marketing materials are consistent, high-quality, and resonate with a global audience.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and adaptable—capable of managing shifting priorities and unexpected changes with professionalism. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, along with the ability to work effectively across cultures, countries, and time zones. A proactive mindset, creative thinking, and a strong drive for execution are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Asset Management

  • Collaborate with partners to source marketing materials
  • Manage the design request process from initial briefing through feedback and final approval
  • Ensure all assets comply with brand guidelines and are approved via internal marketing platforms

Monetary Code Coordination

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of promotional code creation and distribution
  • Set up minting processes in operational systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Work with operations teams to generate codes, distribute them for testing, and collect performance reports

Campaign Execution

  • Manage campaign setup by submitting requests and drafting marketing copy
  • Verify campaign configurations and coordinate testing with partners

Salesforce Operations

  • Handle campaign lifecycle tasks including activation setup, updates, and account maintenance
  • Generate budget reports and manage system issues through ticketing

Procurement & Financial Management

  • Obtain campaign cost estimates from vendors
  • Create purchase order IDs, issue POs, and manage invoice collection and spend tracking

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or 7–8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing program management and Salesforce operations
  • Business-level proficiency in both Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher) and English
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects independently
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-motivated and effective in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Experience in consumer products or retail is a plus
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Workspace
