[CLIENT SUMMARY]

One of our largest and well known tech clients is in need of an experienced Marketing Program Manager to play a key role in shaping the brand image of our leading gift card product across our Japan market.  You will manage the entire campaign process, from concept to completion, ensuring all marketing materials are high-quality, on-brand, and resonate with international audiences. The ideal candidate is also highly detail-oriented and champions process and accuracy but also possesses the flexibility and patience to gracefully manage mid-course corrections and unexpected changes.

This is a collaborative role that requires exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills and be comfortable with ambiguity and juggling multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines. At the same time, you should have a bias for execution and a high level of drive and creativity to constantly improve your area of responsibility. You must be comfortable communicating across cultural, country and time-zone boundaries.

[RESPONSIBILITIES]

  • Artwork Preparation: Collaborate with partners to source marketing assets, manage the design request process from initial specifications through feedback collection and approval, while ensuring adherence to branding guidelines and facilitating approvals through the Partner Marketing Hub.

  • Monetary Code Preparation: Coordinate the end-to-end monetary code process by setting up minting on operational systems (SFDC), collaborating with the Promo Ops team to mint codes, distributing codes to partners for testing, and collecting distribution reports to ensure successful implementation.

  • Campaign Preparation: Manage campaign setup by submitting requests to the Promo Ops team, collecting partner information to draft marketing copies, cross-checking campaign configurations, and coordinating testing with partners.

  • SFDC Operations: Manage comprehensive campaign lifecycle activities including creating and submitting Activations, updating campaign details and modifications, maintaining retail/payment partner accounts, generating budget reports, and resolving system functionality issues through bug ticket creation.

  • Quote, Purchase Order (PO) and Invoice: Manage the complete procurement cycle by obtaining campaign quotations from integrators, creating IDs to issue purchase orders, distributing POs to integrators, and coordinating actual spend reporting and invoice collection.

[REQUIREMENTS]

  • BS in Business Administration, Marketing, Project Management, Communications, or related field (In lieu of degree, 7-8 years relevant work experience) and 5 years of relevant work experience in marketing development and Salesforce operations

  • Business level (JLPT N2) Japanese and English

  • Strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently to multitask, prioritize, take ownership, and manage across multiple, often time-sensitive initiatives

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build good working relationships

  • Self-starter and effective problem solver who thrives in ambiguous and comfortability working in fast-paced environments

  • Consumer Products Expertise: Prior experience working for a retailer or consumer-facing brand is a plus

  • Software: Salesforce, Adobe Acrobat, Google suite.
