Marketing Assistant Project Manager – Japan
About the Role
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant Project Manager to support and collaborate with the Marketing Manager in strengthening the Arc’teryx brand presence in Japan. This position plays a key role in driving the success of marketing initiatives through effective project management, communication, and creative execution.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and execute marketing projects, including budget oversight (e.g., store openings, brand campaigns, and joint initiatives such as GORE-TEX collaborations).
Manage vendor selection and oversee vendor relationships to ensure successful project delivery.
Conduct and coordinate marketing research (such as awareness surveys and consumer interviews) and manage associated vendor processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on marketing plans, evaluate results, and support continuous improvement through the PDCA cycle.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in retail business.
At least 6 years of marketing experience.
3+ years of project management experience.
Proficiency in Japanese at native level.
Business-level English skills (spoken and written).
