Marketing Assistant Project Manager – Japan

About the Role
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant Project Manager to support and collaborate with the Marketing Manager in strengthening the Arc’teryx brand presence in Japan. This position plays a key role in driving the success of marketing initiatives through effective project management, communication, and creative execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and execute marketing projects, including budget oversight (e.g., store openings, brand campaigns, and joint initiatives such as GORE-TEX collaborations).

  • Manage vendor selection and oversee vendor relationships to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Conduct and coordinate marketing research (such as awareness surveys and consumer interviews) and manage associated vendor processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on marketing plans, evaluate results, and support continuous improvement through the PDCA cycle.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail business.

  • At least 6 years of marketing experience.

  • 3+ years of project management experience.

  • Proficiency in Japanese at native level.

  • Business-level English skills (spoken and written).

Language Requirements

  • Japanese: Native proficiency.
