Role Overview
This position supports the commercial activities of the Medical Devices division by coordinating safety testing and regulatory certification services for manufacturers in Japan. The role focuses on ensuring smooth handling of client inquiries, contract processes, and internal collaboration to deliver timely and compliant assessment services.
Clients include manufacturers of both active and non-active medical devices, as well as in vitro diagnostic products.
The successful candidate will be highly proactive, organized, and skilled in cross-functional communication.
Key Responsibilities
Manage ongoing contracts with existing customers, including quotation preparation and process follow-through to completion.
Act as the initial contact for new prospective customers introduced via internal channels.
Support account development efforts to expand business with current clients.
Work closely with field sales teams, providing necessary coordination and support.
Liaise with internal stakeholders—including engineering, auditing, and business management teams—to facilitate service delivery.
Conduct basic market research and gather customer feedback to support business improvement.
Assist in forecasting account activity and future operational needs.
Required Qualifications
At least 3 years of B2B sales support or inside sales experience in the medical device or electrical/consumer electronics field.
Strong goal-orientation with the ability to support achievement of sales objectives.
Business-level English skills for internal communication and written documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within the testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) sector.
Familiarity with medical device regulatory and certification processes.

Working Conditions
Standard working hours: 09:00 – 18:00 (1-hour break)
Flexible work arrangement with core time between 11:00 – 15:00
