Job Title: Business Development & Marketing Manager

Overview

This role is responsible for driving business development and marketing activities for a company specializing in customized electronic components and system solutions. The organization provides design and assembly services locally in Japan, while also distributing a range of related products such as power distribution components, cable assemblies, and wiring solutions.

The position focuses on expanding business with key industrial clients while strengthening relationships with both existing customers and global internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to drive revenue growth

  • Manage relationships with key clients across industries such as electronics, medical devices, semiconductors, IT/datacom, industrial, transportation, and defense

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and target markets

  • Oversee local business operations, including profit and loss (P&L) management

  • Provide regular reporting to international business units and headquarters

  • Build and maintain strong collaboration with global group companies

  • Lead and guide the local team while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives

Requirements

  • Proven experience in senior-level sales or business development

  • Strong network and established relationships within relevant industries

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic growth plans

  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage business operations

  • Business-level to advanced English proficiency

  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, global environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA or equivalent is a plus)

  • Basic knowledge of electrical or electronic systems (not mandatory)
