Role Overview

A hospitality company is seeking a Reservations Agent to manage booking operations and support guest services. The role involves handling reservations, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring a high standard of accuracy and customer service. Key Responsibilities

  • Complete required training programs and assessments

  • Develop thorough knowledge of the property’s offerings, room types, and amenities

  • Maximize room sales through effective up-selling and revenue strategies

  • Review and verify all new, modified, and canceled reservations daily

  • Check arrival lists for individual and group bookings several days in advance

  • Ensure guest details, special requests, and pricing are accurate

  • Handle administrative tasks including correspondence, file management, and communications

  • Maintain a proactive approach to sales and identify potential opportunities

  • Support the reservations and group sales teams in optimizing revenue

  • Confirm accuracy of commission records and follow up as needed

  • Document declined bookings with appropriate reasons

  • Ensure all reservation correspondence is current and properly filed

  • Adhere to credit policies and contribute to revenue forecasting

  • Follow inventory and pricing control procedures

  • Keep guest and sales data updated according to reservation protocols

  • Deliver consistent, high-quality guest service

  • Ensure all reservation entries are complete and accurate

  • Assist team members with daily tasks and workload management

  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment
