【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】

  • Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs.

  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and job qualifications.

  • Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, and using newsgroups and job sites.

  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.

  • Manages new employee relocation by determining new employee requirements, negotiating with movers, arranging temporary housing, and providing community introductions.

  • Manages intern program by conducting orientations; scheduling rotations and assignments; monitoring intern job contributions; coaching interns; and advising managers on training and coaching.

  • Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation, enforcing regulations with managers, recommending new procedures, and conducting training.

 

【REQUIREMENTS】

  • Japanese fluency (Need to communicate with employees and local vendors)

  • English fluency (Need to communicate with regional teams)

  • 3-5 years of exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience in a full life-cycle environment, including management of multiple high-volume roles simultaneously

  • 3+ years of experience recruiting in the relevant industry environment

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 2+ years of experience using a computer with Windows PC applications that required you to use a keyboard, navigate screens, and learn new software tools.

  • 2+ years of experience in a service-oriented role, you had to correspond in writing or over the phone with internal employees and external candidates.

  • 2+ months of experience in a service-oriented role where you had to apply business rules to varying fact situations and make appropriate decisions
