Role Overview
This position is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities in the hospitality sector across Japan, with a focus on hotel management agreements. The role involves building strong industry relationships, evaluating potential deals, and managing the full development process from lead generation to contract execution.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new hotel and hospitality management opportunities throughout Japan
Establish and maintain relationships with property owners, developers, brokers, and other key stakeholders
Conduct market research, financial modeling, and feasibility analysis to support opportunity evaluation
Manage the end-to-end deal process, coordinating with internal teams and external partners
Prepare business cases, commercial proposals, and internal approval documents
Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and tailor proposals to client needs
Maintain and update business development materials, including pitch decks and commercial documentation
Monitor and follow up on active leads to ensure alignment with strategic goals and timely progress
Travel as needed for client meetings, site visits, and industry events
Support broader business development initiatives as required
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field
4–5 years of experience in business development, consulting, or investment, preferably in hospitality or real estate
Proven track record in sourcing, structuring, and closing commercial deals is highly desirable
Strong financial and analytical skills, including experience with financial projections
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively
Fluency in Japanese and business-level English is required
