Role Overview

This position is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities in the hospitality sector across Japan, with a focus on hotel management agreements. The role involves building strong industry relationships, evaluating potential deals, and managing the full development process from lead generation to contract execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new hotel and hospitality management opportunities throughout Japan

  • Establish and maintain relationships with property owners, developers, brokers, and other key stakeholders

  • Conduct market research, financial modeling, and feasibility analysis to support opportunity evaluation

  • Manage the end-to-end deal process, coordinating with internal teams and external partners

  • Prepare business cases, commercial proposals, and internal approval documents

  • Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and tailor proposals to client needs

  • Maintain and update business development materials, including pitch decks and commercial documentation

  • Monitor and follow up on active leads to ensure alignment with strategic goals and timely progress

  • Travel as needed for client meetings, site visits, and industry events

  • Support broader business development initiatives as required

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field

  • 4–5 years of experience in business development, consulting, or investment, preferably in hospitality or real estate

  • Proven track record in sourcing, structuring, and closing commercial deals is highly desirable

  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including experience with financial projections

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively

  • Fluency in Japanese and business-level English is required
