Senior Supply Chain Management Manager – Japan
Role Overview
This role is responsible for overseeing all supply chain functions in Japan, including procurement, demand planning, inventory control, logistics, and order management. By ensuring smooth and cost-effective operations, this position directly supports business growth and strengthens customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement supply chain strategies in alignment with corporate goals

Drive ongoing improvements in processes, costs, and operational performance

Establish and manage relationships with key suppliers, including contract negotiations and performance monitoring

Oversee and manage third-party logistics providers

Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to forecast demand and plan optimal inventory levels

Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process

Supervise the full logistics cycle including transportation, warehousing, and distribution to ensure timely delivery

Optimize stock levels and shorten lead times

Identify supply chain risks and create contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted operations

Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards

Provide guidance and support to the Order Management team to improve outcomes

Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain organization to strengthen capabilities and performance

Manage talent development including hiring, evaluation, and training

Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Sales, and other teams to support business needs

Coordinate with global stakeholders to ensure alignment with worldwide strategy
