Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Japan, the Specialist, Sales Support is responsible for all internal activities in Sales/Market Development, Marketing, Application, coordination and administration tasks as well as some of business analytical activities such as managing and analyzing the opportunity pipeline, market insights and local pricing evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Provide Effective Operational Support, assist with quotation creation, phone handling, logistics coordination, certification generation, internal order placement, invoice management, and event arrangements
- Weekly and Monthly Sales Reporting and Data Analysis including comparative analysis through past years per account level
- Maintain local price file and update market insights and local pricing evaluation in the market
- Demo Equipment Management, coordinate demo equipment bookings, regular update demo management file
- Handling all sending and receiving of equipment for loaner machines, trade shows and other events
- Managing and Analyzing opportunity pipeline, which Sales/Market Development Team create by analyzing various opportunity metrics to provide valuable insights for our future business development
- Aggregating and analyzing Sell Thru/Pass Thru data from partners by e.g., Power BI. Visualize to enable comparative analysis by product family
- Assist Marketing team to upload/update lead (new prospected customers) information in CSP (pipeline database), organize and co-ordinate seminars, workshops, and other marketing events
- Create administrative efficiencies and find ways to improve processes
- Cultivate cross-functional relationships between departments and improve communication across teams
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Graduated from junior college, vocational school or have equivalent knowledge
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
- Experience in SAP BW and Salesforce modules as well as an affinity to new technologies and software are essential
- Strong analytical skills with business and numerical sense
- Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel skill
- Effectively able to handle and prioritize multiple projects
- Good written English skills for email communication, while basic spoken English is acceptable
- Native Japanese or N1 qualification
- Positive attitude and team player
- Highly resourceful and flexible in accomplishing tasks and solving problems; self-starter
- Well-organized and attention to details
