Technical Sales (Business Division)
Role Overview:
Primary responsibility: Technical sales of consumables used in paper manufacturing processes, such as coating blades, rods, and creping blades for tissue production.
These products hold a dominant global market share, offering an opportunity to learn advanced sales strategies and value-based selling methods from an industry leader.
Future opportunities: In addition to consumables, there is potential to expand into solution-based sales, which involve addressing customer challenges (e.g., improving board strength or tissue softness) through integrated proposals using consumables, measurement instruments, and digital solutions (data integration systems and advanced process control).
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct meetings with customers to understand their challenges and propose solutions.
Prepare quotations and manage order processing and delivery.
Coordinate technical specifications and delivery schedules with overseas factories; accompany engineers on customer visits.
Participate in international sales and technical meetings (approximately twice a year).
Handle accounts with major domestic paper manufacturers; nationwide travel required.
Join a division consisting of four teams (total 27 members) with annual revenue of approximately ¥1.7 billion.
Consumables Sales Team: 4 members, generating ¥1.1 billion in revenue. This role is to replace a departing team member.
Engage in strategic sales and development for globally leading products.
Initial training: Approximately three months of on-the-job learning alongside experienced technical sales staff.
Candidate Profile:
Industry Experience: Required background in the paper industry.
For related companies: Experience in technical sales to paper manufacturers and knowledge of paper manufacturing processes.
For paper manufacturers: Engineering experience in production, design, maintenance, instrumentation, or R&D.
General Requirements:
Education: Technical degree from a college or university.
Language: Ability to read and write emails in English; technical communication with overseas engineers via email and remote meetings.

Compensation & Benefits:
Bonus: Annual performance-based incentive (up to 30% of salary) starting from the second year.
Includes 30 hours of overtime allowance.
Working hours: 9:00–17:15 (75-minute break).
Holidays: Full weekends off, national holidays, year-end/New Year (Dec 29–Jan 4), summer leave (3 days), and paid leave (10 days in the first year)
