Role Overview
This role is responsible for generating new business within large enterprise accounts. The Account Director will focus on identifying, developing, and closing high-value opportunities while building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
The position plays a key role in expanding market presence and driving revenue growth through a strategic, consultative sales approach.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Execution
Prospect and develop new business opportunities within large enterprise organizations.
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline and drive deals through to closure.
Sell cloud-based enterprise solutions to address customer business challenges.
Executive Engagement
Establish and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers (e.g., C-level executives).
Position solutions through a value-based, consultative sales approach.
Account Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute strategic account plans to identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with customers to define long-term vision and value realization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams such as business development and solution consulting to support deal success.
Partner with external stakeholders where relevant to deliver integrated solutions.
Forecasting & Reporting
Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular pipeline updates.
Monitor market trends and identify potential risks or opportunities impacting performance.
Candidate Profile
Experience
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment.
Experience selling to large enterprise clients and engaging senior executives.
