As an Account Manager, you will manage and grow business within your assigned territory, drive sales of chromatography-related products, and build strong relationships with customers across key industries such as environmental testing, food and water analysis, pharmaceuticals, and clinical CROs. This position reports to the Country Sales Manager (Japan) and is part of a fully remote Tokyo-based team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with customers and end-users within assigned industries.
Conduct customer visits and provide technical guidance on chromatography products and applications.
Achieve sales and unit targets while driving market share growth and sustainable revenue.
Manage and update sales pipeline and CRM data with accuracy and timeliness.
Support reliable order and sales forecasting through effective funnel management.
Qualifications
Required:
Proven sales experience with HPLC or LC-MS/MS systems.
Strong business development mindset and results-oriented approach.
Willingness to continuously learn technical, business, and industry knowledge (including English proficiency).
Preferred:
Hands-on laboratory experience with HPLC or LC-MS/MS, ideally in a CRO environment.
Customer-facing experience in the environmental or PFAS-related markets.
