We are looking for a Brand Ambassador to join our dynamic Sales Team in Japan, reporting to the Senior Sales Manager. This role plays a key part in driving brand performance and maintaining strong relationships with our retail partners.

Key Responsibilities

Client Portfolio Management

  • Develop a structured work plan aligned with the brand’s sales cycle and priorities.

  • Strategically plan store visits to meet key KPIs, ensuring frequent and effective touchpoints with stores based on their classification.

Client Relationship Building

  • Foster strong working relationships with Merchandise and Store Managers as well as key retail associates.

  • Act as the main liaison between the brand and retail partners, collecting and communicating client feedback.

Sales & Brand Performance

  • Achieve sales goals (both sell-in and sell-out).

  • Support new collection launches and ensure product visibility in-store.

  • Monitor brand presence, stock levels, and assortment in line with selective distribution standards.

  • Drive product distribution and optimize placement.

In-Store Brand Presence

  • Improve and negotiate enhanced brand visibility and merchandising in stores.

  • Ensure brand guidelines are strictly followed to protect brand image.

  • Monitor compliance with visual merchandising standards.

Training & Knowledge Sharing

  • Deliver in-store training on products, brand values, and trade marketing initiatives.

  • Ensure store staff are well-informed and engaged with the brand.

Reporting & Market Analysis

  • Provide timely visit reports and customer feedback.

  • Track and analyze competitors’ activities, including products, marketing, and in-store visibility.

  • Identify best- and worst-selling items to inform product and sales strategy.

Candidate Profile – Who You Are

  • Minimum 5 years of field sales experience, preferably in luxury, fashion, beauty, or FMCG.

  • Strong foundation in trade marketing and visual merchandising.

  • Comfortable with frequent travel.

  • Skilled in negotiation, presentation, and communication.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Confident in preparing performance reports and managing communications with stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to plan, execute, and report on sales strategies effectively.

  • Highly motivated, commercially minded, and team-oriented.

  • Native-level Japanese is required.
