Mission of this position:

Make the Japanese trading card market hotter.

[RESPONSIBILITIES]

You will be responsible for the overall business planning and business development of the grading and appraisal service. You will be responsible for developing new customers, strengthening relationships with existing customers and expanding the market. You will be part of the Sales & Marketing team and work from the Tokyo office.

As a member of the brand, the world's largest grading and appraisal service provider, you will lead the expansion of the business in Japan. In addition to sales activities, you will be able to take on multifaceted tasks related to business expansion, such as dealer management, collaboration with the marketing team and promotion using social media. You will get a sense of further boosting the service and market by incorporating your own ideas, such as establishing new business schemes and developing content.

- You will build relationships of trust with dealers and customers to identify their needs and increase orders.

- You will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing dealer accounts, monitoring order progress and working with the operations department to manage delivery and quality.

- Actively participate in national card shows and events to promote our brand and services. You will also support the development of content for social media.

- You will be responsible for enhancing the value of the brand by strengthening relationships with senior management and decision-makers of existing and new partners and building long-term collaborations.

- You will promote service expansion and new business development, not only in the TCG market, but also in the broader collector's market, including comics and games.

- You will lead the planning and promotion of measures that will further strengthen the brand image of our company vs other collectors' companies and develop new customer segments.

[REQUIREMENTS]

- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience).

- Ability to travel, including by car and plane.

- Basic knowledge of the trading card market (terminology, market issues, value of collectors' items, etc.)

- Empathy with our company values and the ability to personally embody them.

- Able to consistently commit to high goals, from hypothesis formulation to planning and execution, and have the driving force to link this to results.

- Able to understand our services and brands and respond appropriately at the front line of customer contact.
