Compensation
Annual Salary: Approximately ¥6,000,000 – ¥8,000,000 (depending on experience and skills)
Bonus: Paid twice per year
Monthly Base Salary: Starting from approximately ¥320,000+

Multiple office locations are available across Japan’s major technology hubs.
Offices located in major business districts with convenient access to train stations

Role Overview
You will join a data science team within the company’s digital strategy function. The team works on solving real-world business challenges across group companies by applying data analysis and machine learning techniques.
This role involves working with experienced team members to build data-driven solutions that support strategic decision-making and operational improvements. The position also offers opportunities to explore emerging technologies such as generative AI and large language models.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and potential business challenges
Develop hypotheses and perform data-driven analysis to support business decisions
Extract, clean, and process large-scale data using SQL and other tools
Assist in developing, testing, and evaluating machine learning models
Prepare analytical reports and present findings to stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and business units
Required Qualifications
Must Have
At least 3 years of experience in data analysis using Python
Hands-on experience developing machine learning models
Strong SQL skills for handling large-scale datasets
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications or coursework related to statistics or data science
Experience participating in data science competitions or analytical communities
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and related services
Experience working on collaborative data or analytics projects
Working Environment
Flexible working hours with a full flextime system
Standard working schedule equivalent to 8 hours per day
