Role Overview
A global lifestyle brand is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to support the growth of its direct-to-consumer e-commerce channels in Japan. This role focuses on executing communication strategies across owned platforms including the brand website, mobile app, email, and social messaging (e.g., LINE). The primary objective is to drive revenue, with a strong emphasis on increasing app performance and improving overall traffic and conversion rates.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative, with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership in optimizing digital touchpoints. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an internationally integrated team and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily content and merchandising updates on the app using CMS tools (e.g., ContentStack)
Plan and execute push notifications through tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Conduct user testing and support rollout of new features across digital platforms
Develop and execute digital communication tactics for owned media (App, LINE, Email) in alignment with brand and merchandising goals
Collaborate with agencies and internal stakeholders to activate go-to-market content, including project management and creative brief development
Analyze customer behavior using digital tools to enhance performance metrics such as revenue, traffic, click-through rates, conversion, AOV, membership sign-ups, and checkout completion
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience:
2+ years in a digital marketing, e-commerce, or similar role
Hands-on experience with platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, ContentStack, Magento, Adobe Commerce, AppsFlyer, or other CMS systems
Skills & Abilities:
Strong analytical and commercial mindset
Proficient in Japanese (native level); English communication skills suitable for global team interactions
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.)
Excellent project and time management skills
Familiarity with analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics (Omniture) is a plus
Collaborative team player with initiative and problem-solving ability
