Position: Digital Media Director
Overview
The Digital Media Director will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that address client needs and business challenges. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to deliver integrated, data-driven solutions that enhance brand visibility and campaign effectiveness across digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
Client Strategy & Management

Understand clients’ marketing objectives—particularly in digital—and design integrated advertising strategies to achieve measurable results.

Collaborate with internal departments such as sales, strategy, and media planning to deliver cohesive, high-quality marketing solutions to domestic and international clients.

Oversee campaign execution across digital media platforms, including budget allocation, performance analysis, and continuous optimization.

Serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring strong relationships and consistent delivery of strategic value.
Project Leadership & Collaboration

Act as a core member of the digital leadership team, driving planning, execution, and progress management for various projects.

Coordinate with global teams and overseas offices to implement cross-market digital initiatives and align with international standards.

Oversee paid digital operations, including media buying, rate negotiation, and contract management with external media partners.
Strategic & Operational Oversight

Lead the development and implementation of digital strategies to address complex marketing challenges and ensure campaign excellence.

Maintain transparency, efficiency, and accountability across all paid media activities through effective partner management and process optimization.

Manage and mentor the internal digital team, providing guidance on performance, project management, and professional growth.

Ensure all digital initiatives align with global brand standards and strategic frameworks.

Take overall responsibility for the quality and performance of all client deliverables.
Required Skills and Experience

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an advertising or digital agency environment.

Strong understanding of paid and programmatic media, as well as digital advertising operations.

Proven success managing digital strategies and media campaigns across multiple clients.

Experience collaborating with both domestic and global partners.

Solid understanding of digital advertising ecosystems, including programmatic, SEO, and data-driven marketing.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders.

Proactive, curious mindset with a passion for exploring new digital tools and trends.

Advanced business-level Japanese proficiency.

Practical English communication skills—verbal and written (fluency not required, but the ability to converse and manage correspondence is preferred).
