Overview:
A well-established production company with a strong track record in producing a wide range of content—including national TV programs, commercials, live broadcasts, music videos, large-scale festivals, and corporate promotional events—is seeking an experienced Events Manager. This role is embedded within the event management team of a major international IT client. The team is responsible for delivering high-quality, end-to-end event solutions across various formats, ensuring a seamless and world-class experience for both organizers and attendees.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple events simultaneously, ensuring effective scheduling and coordination by working backward from event dates.
Provide comprehensive planning support to event hosts, acting as a single point of contact for all event-related needs.
Understand client objectives and event requirements through consultations.
Review and optimize event budgets to maximize return on investment.
Coordinate logistics including venue setup, catering, entertainment, décor, and security.
Recommend enhancements to improve event outcomes and attendee experience.
Ensure appropriate allocation and setup of event spaces.
Communicate changes in space requirements or cancellations to relevant teams.
Maintain accurate and timely updates in internal systems.
Monitor event execution and ensure services are delivered as planned.
Liaise with service teams throughout the event to address any emerging needs.
Prepare and distribute service-related communications to all departments.
Conduct post-event surveys and share feedback with relevant teams.
Collaborate across departments to manage event deliverables such as communications, registration, calendars, and post-event reporting.
Drive creativity and innovation in event design and execution across various industries.
Qualifications:
Native-level English proficiency and business-level Japanese (capable of presentations and negotiations).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning, production, marketing, or related roles.
Background in roles such as event coordinator, project manager, producer, or director is preferred.
Proficiency in Google Workspace tools (Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Meet, Chat, Calendar, Gmail, etc.).
