Role Overview
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding adoption of a retail insights program in Japan.
This role focuses on developing new client relationships with suppliers and brands while also supporting the retention and expansion of existing accounts. The position requires strong consultative selling capabilities and the ability to communicate the commercial value of data and analytics solutions to senior stakeholders.
The role also acts as a representative of the program within the retail ecosystem, collaborating with internal teams and industry partners to strengthen the offering and support market growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Development

Lead the full sales cycle including prospecting, needs analysis, solution development, negotiation, and deal closure.

Candidate Profile
Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably within retail, consumer goods, or market analytics industries.

Demonstrated success in new business development and closing commercial deals.

Experience working with market data, point-of-sale data, or consumer insights platforms is advantageous.
