Role Overview

The Solution Engineer will support the enterprise sales team by providing technical expertise during the sales process. This role focuses on helping potential customers understand the value of the company’s collaboration and productivity platform.

The position involves engaging with enterprise clients, demonstrating product capabilities, supporting technical evaluations, and ensuring successful adoption of the solution.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Customer Engagement
  • Work closely with the sales team throughout the enterprise sales process, from initial discussions to contract closure.

  • Understand customer business challenges, objectives, and technical requirements.

Product Demonstrations & Technical Consultation
  • Deliver customized product demonstrations tailored to customer needs.

  • Clearly communicate how the platform can address operational and collaboration challenges.

Technical Evaluation & Proof of Concept
  • Support proof-of-concept projects and technical validation during the evaluation phase.

  • Assist clients in assessing the platform’s capabilities and integration potential.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal product or engineering teams to ensure solutions align with market needs in Japan.

  • Work with internal stakeholders to address technical questions and resolve potential obstacles during the sales cycle.

Candidate Profile
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in solution engineering, pre-sales, or a similar technical sales support role within enterprise software.

  • Familiarity with enterprise system architecture and database concepts.

Skills
  • Strong presentation and communication abilities.

  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Comfortable collaborating across multiple teams and managing complex sales processes.
