IT Solutions & Program Manager (Infrastructure / Digital Workplace)
Role Overview
This role combines solution consulting, customer engagement, and program management responsibilities. The position supports sales activities during the pre-sales and delivery phases, acts as the primary solution owner for assigned customers or partners, and leads large-scale infrastructure and digital workplace programs across global and offshore teams.
The role serves as a key technical and communication bridge between customers and offshore delivery teams, ensuring clear requirements, accurate solution design, and successful execution.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design and Pre-Sales Support

Support sales teams in clarifying and finalizing customer requirements

Present and explain proposed IT solutions in collaboration with offshore solution teams

Review and validate pricing assumptions with sales, providing optimization recommendations

Act as the primary solution owner for assigned customers or partners

Prepare solution presentations and documentation in coordination with delivery teams
-
Serve as the main technical liaison between customers and offshore teams
-
Identify and support opportunities to expand business within existing customer accounts
Project and Program Management

Lead end-to-end project and program management activities, including:

Project planning and scheduling
-
Documentation and reporting
-
Executive and customer-facing presentations
-

Manage delivery teams across locations and offshore environments
-
Organize and facilitate internal and external meetings
-
Produce meeting minutes and manage action tracking
-
Engage and align stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
-
Proactively resolve conflicts and delivery challenges
-
Monitor progress against plans and provide regular status reporting
Required Skills and Experience
Data Center and Infrastructure
-
Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, middleware, and cloud platforms (network expertise not required)

Proven experience leading data center implementation and operations teams
-
Experience managing both on-premises and cloud-based data centers
-
Cloud migration experience is highly desirable
-
Experience managing global data center programs and multi-region engagements
-
Ability to estimate effort and resources for large-scale infrastructure initiatives
-
Solid understanding of ITIL processes and service management frameworks
-
Experience leading large data center operations and transition programs
-
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Digital Workplace (DWP)
-
Broad knowledge of digital workplace technologies, including PCs, Active Directory, email platforms, virtualization, and endpoint management

Experience managing large-scale end-user computing (EUC) programs
-
Understanding of asset lifecycle management, device-as-a-service (DaaS), and workplace modernization
-
Strong knowledge of ITIL-based service delivery

Experience with user experience monitoring and digital experience tools is an advantage

Understanding of patch management processes

Experience managing service desk and EUC transition programs
-
Proven leadership of large digital workplace operations teams
Basic Requirements

Fluency in both English and Japanese (spoken and written)

Experience working in offshore and multi-location delivery models
-
Background in business development or solution consulting is an advantage
