The company is expanding its presence across key urban locations, including department stores, shopping centers, and street-level stores.
Role Overview
This position is responsible for overseeing overall retail operations across multiple store locations in Japan.
The role is ideal for candidates with extensive experience in multi-store retail management within a growing organization, particularly those who have been involved in store expansion and new store openings (including pop-up stores).
You will play a key role not only in managing operations but also in building processes, improving systems, and supporting the company’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee retail store operations and drive overall sales performance
Support store expansion, including new store openings and pop-up operations
Manage and collaborate with area managers and store teams
Build and improve operational processes and internal systems
Coordinate with external stakeholders such as department stores and commercial facilities
Drive initiatives to improve store performance and customer experience
Team Structure
Small head office team with several managers
Additional staff across retail store locations
Requirements
Strong experience in multi-store retail management within a mid-sized or growing company
Experience in store expansion and/or pop-up store operations
Background in food retail, F&B, cosmetics, or brand-driven retail businesses preferred
Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive improvements
