Position: Software Engineer – Backend

About the Role
We are looking for a backend engineer to strengthen our logistics product suite, which includes our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and companion Handy Terminal application. These tools integrate directly with our advanced ASRS systems, supporting efficient supply chain operations.
As part of the engineering team, you will help design and maintain a scalable backend architecture—including APIs and databases—used across multiple deployments. Beyond technical expertise, we value collaboration, open communication, and a strong commitment to quality.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain backend components that power seamless logistics operations.
Continuously improve
system performance, code quality, and testing coverage.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and consistent engineering practices.
Minimum Qualifications
3–5 years of professional experience with Python
(v3.10+).
Hands-on experience with web frameworks such as FastAPI
or Django.
Strong knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with testing and automation tools (pytest, GitHub Actions, Docker).
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to NoSQL databases
(e.g., Redis).
Experience with asynchronous programming
(asyncio) or message bus systems.
Ability to clearly explain technical decisions and trade-offs.
Experience speaking at conferences or contributing to open-source projects.
Understanding of WMS concepts
and logistics workflows.
