【Position Summary】

We are looking for a candidate with managerial-level experience to join our Supply Chain Department, focusing on stock management operations. The ideal candidate will be between the ages of 40 and 50 and will contribute both through leadership and hands-on execution, overseeing inventory processes, improving systems, and managing a team.

[Team Structure]
The selected candidate will belong to the Supply Chain Department and will be responsible for Stock Management.

  • Supply Chain Department: Approximately 20 members in total

  • Stock Management Team: 9 members (including this position)

    • Responsible for managing:

      • Master Data Team (3 members)

      • Allocation Team (3 members)

      • One Data Analyst

    • There are three Assistant Managers who will support with

      team management.

  • Reporting Line: Reports to the Operations Director

[Selection Process]
1st Round: Interview with the Stock Management Manager + HR (in English and Japanese)
2nd Round: Interview with the Supply Chain Director (in person)
3rd Round: Interview with the HR Director
4th Round: Interview with the President (in person)

[Compensation Budget]
Fixed annual salary: Up to approximately 9 million JPY, plus incentive bonus
Final offer will be determined based on skills and experience
Fixed salary includes: Monthly salary × 14 months
(This includes two seasonal bonuses—1 month each—and 40 hours of deemed overtime pay)
Target incentive bonus: 15% of 4 months’ worth of fixed salary
(Bonus amount may vary depending on company performance and individual achievement)

[Current Work Style]
The standard rule is to work from the office two days per week.
On other working weekdays, remote work is allowed.
Example: For a 5-day workweek, 2 days in the office and 3 days remote work.

 

About this Job
Position Overview and Mission:
Stock Management is responsible for inventory replenishment to directly operated stores (BtoC) for the brands, handling orders and returns from stores, managing Order Management & Order Fulfillment for clients (BtoB), inventory-related tasks (such as allocation), and master data management (Product, Price, Customer). The selected candidate will lead system/process improvements and project management related to these tasks, either directly or indirectly through team management. They will execute tasks at a level that sets an example for the Stock Management team, make decisions related to Stock Management operations, and provide guidance, considering the entire supply chain and business context. When necessary, they will appropriately escalate issues to the Director or leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordination within and outside the department (50%)

    • Prepare materials for meetings with related departments

    • Present content with understanding

    • Coordinate and negotiate with other departments for business improvements

  2. Team Management (30%)

    • Understand team operations

    • Provide support for vacancies, projects, and busy periods within the team

  3. Coordination with Headquarters in Geneva (20%)

    • Coordinate with the head office (Delivery and projects)

    • Participate

      in S&OP meetings

  4. Promotion of Various Projects

Stock Management Team Tasks:

  • Inventory replenishment/allocation to directly operated stores using Anaplan

  • Handling orders and returns from stores

  • Order Management & Order Fulfillment for clients

  • Responding to inquiries from clients and internal departments

  • Extracting various reports and updating forms

  • Aggregating data in standard formats (sales, billing, inventory data)

  • Optimizing and improving supply chain processes

  • Participating in various projects related to the supply chain

  • Proposing and implementing improvements in business processes and store operations

  • Collaborating with related departments such as Sales, Marketing, Logistics, IT, and global teams

  • Setting and managing KPIs related to operations

  • Managing master data (Product, Price, Customer)

  • Outlet allocation

Application Requirements:

  • Language Skills:

    • Business-level English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)

      • Email correspondence (frequency: daily)

      • Teleconference participation (frequency: daily)

    • Native-level Japanese proficiency

  • Essential Requirements:

    • Over 3 years of experience in store inventory replenishment/allocation operations (including system/process improvements) in the retail (BtoC) business. Experience in BtoB

      is also desirable.

    • Over 3 years of experience in team management and people management (3 or more members)

    • Intermediate or higher proficiency in Excel (practical experience with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, autofilter), PowerPoint

  • Desirable Requirements:

    • Experience in the cosmetics industry, luxury industry, or apparel

    • Experience in promoting joint projects with internal, external, and overseas teams

    • Experience participating as a user or key user in SAP implementation

    • Experience in master

      data-related operations

    • Experience in multi-channel (store, e-commerce) operations
