【COMPANY OVERVIEW】
The Business Development Executive is responsible for supporting sales growth by contacting prospective customers and generating qualified sales leads for regional Business Development Managers
This is an autonomous, outbound sales role responsible for managing a prospect database, working closely with the regional business development and marketing teams to nurture and develop qualified leads and document insight into prospective clients.
Main tasks to focus on are as follows:
Research key prospect accounts and leads, and find ways to positively engage with prospects, open doors and generate interest through effective value proposition.
Provide follow-up to marketing activities by direct calling and contact with prospective buyers of International SOS services. The executive will be expected to create and schedule sales calls directly into the diaries of the business development team.
Be first responder to, Qualify, and nurture inbound leads, providing a professional and valuable experience for those who proactively engage with International SOS
Support marketing to research, identify, code and load into salesforce.com key contacts within a pre-defined database of prospect organization.
【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】
Inside Sales Support
Reach out and make positive contact with prospective buyers that have expressed interest in International SOS services as a result of marketing activities.
Develop a qualified sales pipeline of prospective new clients to be referred to the appropriate Business Development Manager for follow up and progression. Ensure all sales administration, lead referrals and call notes in Salesforce are accurate and timely
Schedule meetings with prospective clients for business development team where appropriate.
Ensure timely follow up of all incoming questions or requests for information from prospective clients across multiple lead channels
Liaise with the marketing team to refine messaging and help shape new content in line with different buyer personas to increase effectiveness of sales marketing materials
Establish close professional relationships with Business Development Managers and Account Managers in the region to maximise lead prospecting potential
Work with Business Development Managers (where agreed) to find new ways into prospect accounts that may not be engaging with our content
Provide insight and intelligence on key market competitors and be able to positively differentiate our services against them
Provide on-going review and feedback on competitors lead generation and management activities
Proficient with company systems and processes including Salesforce.com, Eloqua, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Drift and Outlook
Contact /Account Database Enhancement
Work alongside the marketing team for data enrichment of identified accounts
Identify key contact information such as email address, job title and telephone number and add to salesforce.com accordingly
Support BDMs with account research for key prospects
Record key information in CRM (Salesforce), specifically in relation to buying cycle phase of the contacts - from awareness to consideration
【REQUIREMENTS】
Required Skills and Knowledge (Brief description of technical knowledge or skills needed to perform the job)
Being curious – willingness to ask questions to prospective clients to enquire about their possible needs
Team player and ability to work in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural environment where collaboration is the norm.
English as a native language, or very proficient in English. (Additional languages as needed by region)
Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM applications)
Strong individual that can work autonomously and within a team to deliver results
Customer orientation (internal and/or external customers)
Adaptable, agile minded
Educated to degree level, or equivalent, with a speciality in Business, Marketing or Communications.
Demonstratable B2B sales experience expected. e.g., minimum 1 year prospecting clients or working in sales, preferably within a subscription companies or consulting industry.
