As a consultant in the Life Sciences Unit, you will provide consulting services to both private sector clients (pharmaceuticals, medical devices) and public sector entities (government agencies, public corporations handling medical data). Qualifications
Basic Requirements (All Ranks)
Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
Japanese: Business level or higher
English: Business level or higher
Preferred Experience
Experience in pharmaceutical/medical device business in IT, consulting, or healthcare sectors
Expertise in manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance, or R&D in life sciences
Background in medical data handling (in pharma, academia, medical institutions, or tech firms)
Licenses such as medical doctor or pharmacist are advantageous
Qualifications by Position
Consultant / Senior Consultant
Previous experience in strategy, corporate planning, marketing, or operations
Experience in the life sciences field is preferred but not required
Must have a strong interest in the healthcare and life sciences sector
Manager / Senior Manager and Above
Proven track record as a project manager or team lead in a consulting environment
Experience in business strategy, planning, or transformation projects
Experience in the life sciences industry is required for Senior Manager level and above
Selection Process
3–5 interview rounds
May include case interviews, presentations, and aptitude tests depending on role level
