JAPAN RETAIL SALES MANAGER
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for the Retail and Wholesale Results of the region, negotiating and selling to the dealers,
promotional campaigns and trade marketing operations.
•To implement the JP Retail strategy providing precise input from the field to JP CEO and to the HQ
• To build and expand the company current retailers’ network according to the corporate strategy,
suggesting actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
•To implement Shop-in-Shop program in the region, selecting partners, negotiating spaces in major stores,
creating strong relations with the dealers
• To keep up to date with Company objectives in terms of turnover and business profitability
• To negotiate and implement the Selective Distribution in the region
• To boost new product launch campaigns
• To facilitate the digital development of the company in JP scouting new dealers and developing the
current ones.
•To bring our Flos identity into the market as a real ambassador
•To promote training activities to ensure a very high-end customers experience
•To highlight any market needs which may be relevant for the growth of the business
• To ensure an effective and consistent promotion of the brand on the part of the dealers
•To exploit synergies with other DH brands in the region
Skills
• Team management and coaching with 2 subordinates
• Must be hunter like sales person, rather than merely being sales analyst
• Entrepreneurial mind set
• Willingness to hand-on duties is must due to the small size of the organization
• Strong expertise in the Wholesale Channel both online and offline
•Previous experience in Design business or Eyewear or Watches or Beauty
•Ability to influence people
• Ability to understand and apply all company policies and procedures
• Robust negotiation skillset and know-how
•Capable of managing conflicting priorities; meeting deadlines; preparing and giving formal presentations.
• Ability to develop and build relationships
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service
•Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skill
