Overview

This role focuses on managing inbound, outbound, and inventory operations within warehouse logistics. The objective is to enhance customer satisfaction by delivering efficient and reliable distribution services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Coordination – 40%

  • Develop collaborative relationships with logistics partners.

  • Set shared goals and monitor performance.

  • Manage outbound shipping instructions and oversee warehouse activities to ensure service standards are met.

2. Operational Planning – 25%

  • Coordinate with internal teams (Wholesale, Retail, eCommerce, Planning, Procurement, Customer Service) to gather information on upcoming shipments, returns, and other logistics events.

  • Forecast outbound and inbound volumes and create operational plans with logistics partners.

3. Cost Control – 15%

  • Continuously seek opportunities to reduce logistics costs through operational improvements.

4. Operational Excellence – 10%

  • Ensure flexibility in meeting customer needs.

  • Maintain accurate processes aligned with internal audit requirements.

5. Continuous Improvement – 10%

  • Identify and implement process improvements to eliminate inefficiencies and waste.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 1–3 years in logistics, either in-house or with a logistics service provider.

  • Experience in the footwear or apparel industry is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Planning and forecasting capabilities

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Understanding of end-to-end logistics processes

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Fluent in Japanese; intermediate English proficiency

  • Ability to manage stress and multitask in a fast-paced environment
