【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】
The role of a "Medical Science Liaison” is to act as a facilitator between Sales, Account managers, project managers and Client Medical Affairs teams. The focus activity of this role is to discuss scientific content with clients (usually MA teams) and build trust in Edanz’s ability to not only execute projects but also to advise and recommend. Responsibilities :
Build excellent relationships with client MA (Medical Affairs) teams
Facilitate and transition discussions with MA teams about scientific content to Sales teams and together produce proposals for evidence generation (background research, planning, project initiation)
Liaise between AMs and PMs and Client MA team to discuss scientific content when necessary
Liaise with internal and external experts • Accompany sales team to pitch and discussion meetings
Work with external contractors to prepare initial proposals and suggestions
Work with account and project managers to communicate project content

【REQUIREMENTS】
Native Japanese
Ideally business English or higher;
Ideally a PhD degree holder
Straight from academia could be ok, but experience at Pharma, Biotech, Communications agency or CRO very valuable.
