An international advisory firm is seeking an experienced public affairs and communications professional to support projects for global clients in Japan. The position is based in Tokyo, with limited domestic and occasional international travel.

Senior Consultants play a central role in managing projects of varying scale, preparing client-ready deliverables, supervising junior staff, and ensuring high-quality outcomes. They conduct research on business and policy issues, coordinate client meetings and events, and contribute to new business development. This role requires both strategic insight and strong communication skills, with direct client interaction at multiple levels.
シニアコンサルタントは、大規模から小規模までのプロジェクトを統括し、クライアント向け資料の作成、ジュニアスタッフの指導、成果物の品質管理を担います。ビジネスや政策課題に関する調査、クライアントミーティングやイベントの運営、新規ビジネス提案にも関与します。戦略的思考力と高度なコミュニケーション力を求められ、クライアントとの幅広いレベルでの直接対応が必要となります。
Key Responsibilities / 主な業務内容
Develop and deliver tailored client credential materials, proposals, and case studies with minimal revisions required
Approve and refine proposals that demonstrate strategic thinking, scope, and pricing
Identify opportunities to deepen client engagement and independently pursue business expansion
Lead and actively contribute in internal and client meetings, facilitating effective discussions
Organize and guide brainstorming sessions to generate creative solutions
Maintain independent communication with clients via email, phone, or in-person meetings
Demonstrate professional presence and credibility in client interactions
Prepare detailed reports and research deliverables (e.g., perception studies, market analyses, regulatory reports) with minimal supervision
Pursue opportunities to build sector knowledge through external events and training
Meet or exceed utilization and performance targets
Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing constructive feedback and ensuring quality outcomes

戦略性・業務範囲・価格を明確に示した提案書の作成および承認
クライアントとの関係深化の機会を発見し、主体的に新規ビジネスを推進
社内外の会議に積極的に参加し、時には主導しながら有意義な議論を促進
ブレーンストーミングセッションの企画・実施
クライアントとの独立したコミュニケーション（メール、電話、対面）
クライアント対応におけるプロフェッショナルな存在感の発揮
認識調査、市場分析、規制関連報告書など、精度の高いリサーチ・レポートの作成（最小限の監督下で）
業界知識拡大のための外部イベントや研修への積極的参加
業務目標・稼働率の達成または超過
ジュニアメンバーの指導・育成、成果物の品質管理
Qualifications / 応募要件
Bachelor’s degree or higher
7–9 years of relevant professional experience (consulting, corporate affairs, government/diplomatic role, or media)
Strong client-facing and presentation skills
Full professional proficiency in both Japanese (native level or JLPT N1 equivalent) and English (TOEIC 900+ or equivalent)
Ability to manage multiple projects and mentor junior colleagues
大卒以上
コンサルティング、企業広報、政府・外交関連、メディア分野での実務経験（7〜9年程度）
クライアント対応およびプレゼンテーションスキルに優れる方
日本語（ネイティブレベルまたはJLPT N1相当）、英語（TOEIC 900点以上）での高い運用能力
複数案件を同時進行で管理し、チームを指導できる能力
