Role Overview
This role serves as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal teams. The position involves understanding customer requirements, recommending suitable solutions, supporting the sales process, and participating in the delivery and implementation of projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in aligning customer needs with product offerings and ensuring successful deployment and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Technical Engagement
Act as the main point of contact for technical discussions with customers.
Understand customer requirements and translate them into suitable technical solutions.
Maintain strong relationships with customer-side technical stakeholders.
Pre-Sales & Solution Support
Support the sales team with technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.
Contribute to proposals, presentations, and tender responses.
Recommend appropriate products based on customer needs and business goals.
Product & Solution Management
Gather and define functional requirements from customers.
Guide product selection and ensure alignment with customer specifications.
Promote standard and customized solutions for mid- to large-sized clients.
Project Delivery & Implementation
Participate in project execution, including implementation and technical validation.
Coordinate with customers to complete acceptance and validation processes.
Quality & Troubleshooting
Provide first-level support for technical issues and quality-related concerns.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve problems and communicate updates to customers.
Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
Engage in product reviews and provide feedback to support product improvements and future development.
Support team members and contribute to knowledge sharing when needed.
Work independently with general guidance.
Candidate Profile
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in technical consulting, pre-sales, or technical support roles, particularly supporting Japanese clients.
Technical Skills
Strong background in software development or programming, including requirements definition, design, testing, and troubleshooting.
Understanding of software architecture and system integration.
Preferred Knowledge
Familiarity with industry standards related to telecommunications or secure systems (e.g., SIM technologies, communication protocols, or security frameworks).
Knowledge of cryptography concepts such as encryption algorithms, authentication, and PKI.
Experience working with embedded systems, firmware, or specialized software platforms is a plus.
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
Language
Fluent in Japanese and English.
