About the Role
This position focuses on managing warranty claims and cost recovery from overseas suppliers. You will investigate product defects, determine root causes, and negotiate compensation based on purchasing agreements and warranty policies. The role also involves proposing corrective actions to improve product quality and reduce future issues.
Key Responsibilities
Lead warranty claim and cost recovery activities with overseas suppliers.
Conduct root cause analysis of defective products.
Negotiate compensation based on warranty terms and purchasing agreements.
Propose and follow up on corrective and preventive actions with suppliers.
Collaborate with internal departments including procurement and quality assurance.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance or procurement/purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
Experience in external negotiations or supplier communication.
Strong English communication skills (especially written and verbal business correspondence).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in procurement or purchasing, particularly involving cost negotiations or contract management with suppliers.
Background in handling warranty claims or quality-related supplier issues.
