Position: Senior Sales Executive – OEM/ODM Furniture

This company is an OEM/ODM partner that connects global manufacturing capabilities with the Japanese market. It focuses on mid- to high-end customized furniture for residential and hospitality clients. In October 2025, the company will open a flagship showroom in Tokyo to strengthen client engagement and brand presence in Japan.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales growth and expand the client pipeline to increase market share in Japan.
Target key customers, including branded furniture retail chains in the residential segment.
Build relationships with interior design studios, construction, and fit-out firms as secondary targets.
Leverage existing industry connections to identify new business opportunities and key decision-makers.
Set and achieve ambitious sales and revenue goals, developing effective sales strategies and consistently meeting KPIs.
Manage deal flow from lead generation through contract closure, ensuring smooth handover to internal production and logistics teams.
Monitor competitors, market developments, and customer trends, providing actionable insights to management.
Required Qualifications
Extensive sales or sourcing experience in the residential furniture industry (hospitality experience preferred).
Proven ability to secure large-scale contracts worth several million yen or more.
Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
Established network within branded furniture retailers and other relevant industry stakeholders.
Demonstrated success in executing KPI-driven sales plans.
Highly self-motivated and able to work independently without close supervision.
In-depth understanding of the OEM/ODM furniture business in Japan.
Strong grasp of both B2B and B2C sales dynamics, particularly within the premium customization market.
Preferred Qualifications
Business-level proficiency in English or Chinese.
Experience working with overseas suppliers or manufacturers.
Residence in the Kanto region for easier client access.
