Role Overview
The Senior Group Manager, Community Market, is accountable for driving revenue growth and profitability within the community healthcare sales division. This individual will develop and implement strategic sales initiatives, oversee both East and West regional teams as well as inside sales, ensure operational excellence, and cultivate a high-performing, results-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve Sales and Profit Objectives (30%)
Lead and allocate budgets across regional and inside sales teams.
Monitor progress toward national goals and provide strategic guidance.
Define clear KPIs, evaluate performance, and ensure quarterly plan delivery.
Develop and Execute Business Strategies (20%)
Design and implement data-driven sales and marketing initiatives (e.g., webinars, seminars).
Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and distribution partners.
Provide regular progress reports to divisional leadership.
Strengthen Customer and Partner Engagement (20%)
Build strong relationships with hospitals, key opinion leaders, and distributors.
Collect market intelligence to refine strategic direction.
Enhance long-term partnerships with key clients and stakeholders.
Manage Operational Budgets (10%)
Maintain fiscal discipline within OPEX budgets.
Assess ROI on major events, conferences, and projects.
Develop and Mentor the Team (10%)
Deliver ongoing coaching, feedback, and structured training programs.
Support team members’ professional growth and career advancement.
Ensure Compliance and Governance (10%)
Uphold corporate and industry compliance standards.
Encourage a culture of ethical conduct and regulatory adherence.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree (required)
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in a management role within the medical device industry
Preferred: Background in wound management, marketing, or inside sales operations
Skills:
Strategic, data-driven business planning
Market development and cross-functional leadership
Team development and performance management
License: Valid Japanese driver’s license
Travel: 25–50% domestic, with occasional international trips
