【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】

  • Assisting employees and managers with general HR questions

  • Responsible for employee counseling concerning work-related problems, disciplinary matters, conducting exit interviews, etc.

  • Advising People Managers on HR policy and program matters, making or recommending appropriate decisions

  • Leading or co-ordinating activities for HR process/ service improvement

  • Reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures

  • Managing staff benefits system

  • Supporting international secondments for work permits, visas, accommodation, and tax

  • Conducting orientation for new employees

  • Submitting reports / surveys to government agencies as required

  • Identifying areas of process enhancement and improving processes

  • Leading monthly health and safety committee

  • Tracking overtime every month and ensuring health check

  • Build relationships/networks within Japan and globally

 

【REQUIREMENTS】

  • 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in HR operations

  • Understanding of HR processes and practices

  • Experience in using HR systems and databases

  • Project Management Skills

  • Proven experience working in a demanding, multicultural HR environment

  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to execute multi-tasks

  • Able to build relationships at all levels

  • Strong business acumen and ability to engage key stakeholders/ customers

  • Analytical and possess problem solving skills
